Dreams shattered and in ruin
The pain of broken promises
A tear runs down my chin
The damage to my soul
Done without intent
My heart now a hole
My life's blood is spent
I should feel anger
Revenge should cloud my mind
But there is no hunger
I can live with the pain just fine
I will always be yours
Devotion unshaken
To you my heart soars
Though it's still broken

This is an OLD OLD piece. Back in high school old. Strangely enough it was still in the notebook that I carry with me all the time. I ran into it and gave it an update.
